About us

Before the 21st century, Eurasia did not exist as a political entity. The Eurasian landmass was shared - in constant rivalries - by the Russian Empire (USSR), the great power China, the British Empire, and the Ottoman Empire. Today, thirty years after the end of the Soviet Union, Eurasia is increasingly becoming a world political cooperative powerhouse. China, Russia, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are giving Eurasia a new livelihood at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Islamic world. Eurasia is probably the nucleus from which the new multipolar world will emerge. It is high time to deal more intensively with Eurasia, hence the establishment of the Society.
